There are many different kinds of D/F tapes produced today. Paper, flatback, tissue, polypropylene, polyester, foams, polyethylene, UPVC, adhesive transfer (with and without carriers), and ATG tapes are just a few. Core tabbing, splicing, bonding, mounting and laminating are just a few of the applications fulfilled. Acrylic, rubber and silicone are the main adhesives used. Most are clear (films) but some are produced in colors. There are also differential D/F tapes made. These are used when a temporary closure or splicing application is required. One side is permanent and one side is removable. As you can see, the application will determine which type of D/F tape you will need. With our various sources we can get any type required.
